Sarah is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Her passion for health and fitness motivated her to explore the field of manual healthcare. She left her long time career, as an Autism and Behaviour Therapist, to pursue an education in Massage Therapy. Sarah hopes to inspire others to achieve overall wellness by helping clients prevent injury and promote quicker recovery, as well as, maintain ideal physical and mental functioning.
Sarah uses a combined approach including General Swedish Massage, as well as, advanced techniques such as cupping, facilitated stretching, fascial release & scar tissue reduction, trigger point therapy, and hydrotherapy. She practices in a client- centered manner basing treatment on the specific needs and goals of each individual client. Sarah continually add to her knowledge and skills with additional courses and workshops - some of which include cupping, pelvis & hip focused treatments, athletic taping, treating tension & migraine headaches, & pain management.
In addition to a diploma in Massage Therapy, Sarah also has degrees in Psychology and Education. When she is not working, you can find her in her home gym or training for any number of physical fitness events! She also enjoys spending time with her family and pups.
